How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate the website and your account, process and deliver orders, provide customer service, send transactional messages, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, improve the store, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Payments

Payment information is processed by the payment method selected at checkout under the applicable payment provider's terms and privacy notice. CowboySoul receives transaction details needed to confirm and manage the order, but our application is not designed to store complete payment card numbers.

Cookies and Analytics

We currently use cookies or similar browser storage needed for account login, cart, checkout, security, and core site operation. We do not currently use advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or non-essential analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.

How We Share Information

We may share information as needed with providers that support payments, fraud prevention, hosting, database services, security, email, fulfillment, customs clearance, shipping, tracking, professional advice, and legal compliance. We may also disclose information when required by law or as part of a genuine business transfer.

Current infrastructure providers include AWS Lightsail, Neon PostgreSQL, Cloudflare, and Zoho Mail. Medusa and Next.js are software used to operate the store.

We do not currently sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International Processing

Our website and database are primarily hosted or processed in the United States. Authorized personnel in mainland China may access information needed for order fulfillment, customer service, and business operations. Shipping and customs providers may process delivery information in the countries involved in a shipment.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for account operation, order fulfillment, customer service, returns, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security, tax, customs, accounting, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirements.
